Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
This policy describes the information that Next Gen Dashboards (ngdashboards.com and api.ngdashboards.com) collects, how it is used and the choices available to you. It is created and operated by Zoila Gonzalez (about the author). Contact: support@ngdashboards.com.
Without an account
Chart Studio works in your browser. The data you paste or upload stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers. A long share link carries the chart inside the link itself.
Information collected with an account
- Google sign-in: your name, e-mail address, profile picture and Google account identifier, received from Google when you choose to sign in. We do not receive your Google password.
- Your documents: the charts and dashboards you save to your account, their preview images and the photos you place in them.
- Published links: the copy of a document you publish at ngdashboards.com/p/…, and the number of times it is opened. We do not record who opens it.
- Education plan: if you confirm it, whether you are a student or a teacher, and the date.
- Dashboards from a web page: when you ask for one, the address of the page, its text and the dashboard built from it, so you can open it again and so the monthly limit of your plan can be counted.
- Chrome extension (Pro AI): the extension reads the page in the tab you are viewing only when you press its button, and sends that page to our server to build the dashboard. It does not read other tabs, your browsing history, form fields or passwords, and it does nothing in the background. It keeps one key that links it to your account; only a one-way hash of that key is stored on our servers, and pressing Disconnect on ngdashboards.com/studio/extension/ revokes it.
- LinkedIn (Pro): if you connect LinkedIn, your LinkedIn member identifier, your name and an access token that lets us publish a post on your profile only when you press Publish. We do not read your LinkedIn posts, connections or messages.
Cookies
We use one cookie, ngd_session, to keep you signed in. It is set by api.ngdashboards.com, lasts up to 30 days and is removed when you sign out. Only a one-way hash of its value is stored on our servers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How information is used
- To keep your account, save your documents and publish the links you create.
- To apply the limits of your plan.
- To build the dashboard you ask for from a web page.
- To publish on LinkedIn the post you write, only when you press Publish.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Service providers
The service runs on providers that process information on our behalf: Render (application server, United States), Neon (database, United States), Vercel (website), Google (sign-in), Pexels (background photos you choose from its library), OpenAI (reads the text of a web page you ask to turn into a dashboard; it receives the page, not your name or e-mail) and LinkedIn (only if you connect it). Sector news are read from public Google News headlines and contain no personal information.
Retention and deletion
Documents you delete stay in your trash for 30 days and are then deleted. Deleting a document also retires its published link. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time from the studio, which deletes the stored token. To delete your account and all of its documents, write to support@ngdashboards.com from the e-mail address of the account.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Session tokens are stored only as a one-way hash. Access to the database is limited to the application.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its effective date.
